We are yet another client who needs this functionality. I saw that it was raised 4 years ago and there was a comment that very few clients need it and that you'd monitor the requests and reconsider it down the track if the demand increased. That was three years ago and dozens of people have requested it since then.
As has been mentioned by other clients, there are numerous reasons for needing the functionality - in our case, we have a telephone answering service which creates a lot of our job tickets and in spite of ongoing training, we continue to have problems with new company records being created when there is already a record for that company.
Could you please provide a current status update on any plans to implement this much sought after functionality?
